Week 8 - Saturday, 23rd March 2024
10am - 2pm | $70
Students will learn:
How to navigate 3D software (Blender)
Concept and ideation development
Asset development (concept, modelling, texturing)
Assets for 3D animation, 3D visualisation, and general CGI.
Equipment & Software Requirements:
Laptop with enough charge to last class.
Minimum Laptop Requirements*:
8GB RAM
30GB Storage space

About
The Digital Media Lab is a mobile business I started as
as a range of after school Animation & VFX Classes. These classes introduced students to the fundamentals of Animation and VFX.
These workshops were such a success with students I've decided to come back to Caringbah to teach more specialised weekend workshops.
My workshops give students an insight into the Animation, Visual Effects and Gaming industries. My course allows students to broaden their skills in the classroom and prepares them for a range of unique careers.
Digital Media Lab - Established in 2022 by Dominique Altamura
I completed my HSC at Caringbah High School in 2018. Since then I've graduated from UNSW Sydney with a Bachelor of Media Arts with Distinction, and worked on a variety of 3D Animation and VFX work (Including a VIVID Sydney Installation!).
In 2023 I started working full-time in the industry, where I am currently working as a 3D Technical Artist at Rotor Studios. At my job I help create digital assets for our clients Lexus and Toyota.
